Neoprene Genie x fwrdmtn present: IMMERSION
What would clubbing be without immersion, experience with us at Peckham Audio – power sets, live performances, sweat, love and liquidity of self – this is immersion

Artists:BASMATI: We are proud to have incendiary DJ Basmati play at this night. They are a DJ, Event Curator and promotor. They were a resident DJ and then core member of PXSSY PALACE, the self-described, “Slaggy club nite for queer women, trans, non-binary and intersex BIPOC.”
They also co-run their own night, Cousins – cited as one of the best underground club nights in London by Mixmag and Vogue – which they started alongside DJ and BBC Asian Radio presenter, Manara. Just in case that wasn’t enough, they have also spoken to outlets such as Residential Advisor about their nightlife experiences as an QTIBPOC+ person and how to create safer spaces for members of the QTIBPOC+ community: “The underground has always been at the forefront of breaking rules and creating new frameworks.”
A born and bred north Londoner, Basmati brings the vibes and positivity wherever they go. “Who needs some rice, bitch? Who needs some energy?” The MC asks the crowd before Basmati blesses them with everything from an outrageous Spandau Ballet Baltimore house style remix to club staples like “Lady Hear Me Tonight” during their set at the FILTH X PXSSY PALACE Boiler Room, an hour of pure, unadulterated joy (and a lot of sweat).
D3NIM: We have flown in D3NIM for this event!
D3NIM is a NJ|NYC based DJ who specializes in Jersey club, hazy house grooves, ear-perking remixes and hip hop – genre blending and mesmeric.
His 3D art and motion design has been commissioned internationally, and he co-owns fashion brand Harmany Peace Corps, with designer Tokyo Joe.
D3NIM is part of a new gen in the Jersey music scene bringing his own take to its DIY culture with his incendiary events platform No Vista – curating sell-out shows, recently he played with Jersey club legends DJ Tameil and Nadus. His radio appearances include sets with New Town Radio, and foundation.fm – eclectic hybrid sets, each inspired by a cinematic narrative arc. D3NIM has DJ’d at the likes of Dumbo House in New York City, and PIANOS.Razor: Razor made his name as someone whose live sets sound the same as his recordings. A radio regular, he hosts Really Rare Radio on Reprezent, and is known as an incisive public speaker too – joining panels and academic journals on topics from the future of online radio to the documentation of grime. His song Evil Eye with Manga St. Hilaire is another example of his name as a stalwart in Grime and UK Music. He recently performed at DJ’d at Tate Britain as part of a special UK Music showcase, “we turned a Tate Britain gallery into gunfinger central”
M.I.C: North London rapper, producer & pioneer of grime’s newest renaissance. Described by NME as “experimental grime that’s both wonky and wonderful”, M.I.C (shorthand for the Master of Inane Conversation) is a North London based rapper/producer. Having been compared to artists such as FKA TWIGS, A$AP ROCKY and Skepta, as well as being given co-signs from several grime stalwarts (namely JME, Lethal Bizzle and Maxta), In January 2019, M.I.C was featured in the NME 100, NME’s annual rundown of “100 brand new artists set to dominate in the near future”. Since then, he has gone on to play many shows all over the UK (Warehouse Project in Manchester, the monthly night by experimental electronic label Hyperdub “ø” & CRXSS PLATFXRM Festival in Peckham, to name a few), and has been covered by several notable publications, such as Trench, Complex and Dummy Mag. In October 2019, M.I.C’s track “Afropunk Atlanta” was featured on the eighth episode of Blonded Radio (brainchild of one of the most elusive characters in popular music, Frank Ocean). In July 2021, M.I.C came together with Norwood producer Nammy Wams to release “You Can Achieve Anything”, progressive grime which takes as much influence from Nietzsche and anti-religious death metal bands like Immolation as it does from Carn Hill and President T.
Nammy Wams: UK rap, drill and grime, producer and Croydon FM resident. Nammy Wams’ mixes are like crash courses in the finest new drill, rap and grime in the UK. Crisp, icy beats swerve and flutter beneath the gravelly flows of prominent MCs, while agile transitions reveal a DJ who is endlessly excited to show as much of the music he loves as possible to as many people as possible. A prolific radio host, and a talented producer in his own right, he hosts a weekly slot on Croydon FM, and has created an essential platform for forward-thinking UK sounds in just a few short years. With previous guest spots on NTS and Rinse FM, on shows by the legendary Marcus Nasty and The Brigade Network, with whom he is a close affiliate, the Elephant & Castle-born selector has become an enthusiastic and crucial voice in spotlighting these revolutionary new waves of young British music.
In April 2019, he released ‘Yellow Secret Technology’, a sizzling 20-track mixtape that marked the launch of Grime Tapes, a label revived from London DJ Slackk’s legendary pirate radio archive of the same name. The retrospective collection covered five years worth of Nammy Wams’ instrumental productions, and presented an evolving artist with a flair for glimmering melodies and nimble beats that still pack a serious punch. A set at Boxed, the party co-run by Slackk, Mr. Mitch, Logos and Oil Gang, followed in June that year at Corsica Studios, as well as a contribution to their label’s sprawling MMXX compilation. Nammy Wams hosts with a community-orientated edge and placing an emphasis on underrepresented artists and crews.
